HEY fellow bloggers my name is Hector and i am sixteen years of age i am a sophomore in high school and i am a good student. I am currently looking for help to study abroad in Japan. I have always wanted to go to Japan ever since i was a little kid and then i found A.F.S a student exchange program for teenagers. My plans for the future is when i go to college I'm going to join the Army's ROTC a military program that give you all the training you need so that when you do graduate from college you also come out as a 2nd lieutenant in the Army. After i do graduate i have to serve five years in the Army, but after i do come out i going to go to Japan to start a new life there.

The reason i want to go to Japan now and the reason why I need help is because, its like they say say once you get to a certain age you cant learn a language as easily as you can when your a kid. This is why i want to go to japan now because i believe that if i go now i would learn the language and the culture faster so that when i do go when I'm older I'm familiar with Japan.

My parents don't have the money to pay for any of this and the price for japan i about $11,400 and my parents barely have enough to pay for rent. So far i have asked for recommendation letters at school and i have applied for two types of scholarships for students thinking about studding abroad, first the merit based scholarship and next the need based scholarship. They haven't got back to me yet and I'm not sure they ever will there's so many people applying for these scholarships. If you can help ill appreciate it and if you cant please spread the word.THANK YOU
